Thank you for your support! Subscribers are an integral part of the Canadian Opera Company’s success.
As regular attendees, your dedication to the COC is rewarded with
advance access to discounted individual tickets, priority seating,
subscriber discounts, special exchange and transfer privileges, and tax
receipts for returned tickets. Instructions and forms for these and
other benefits are found below.
A night at the opera is even better when you bring your friends.
Beginning August 18, 2014, subscribers may purchase additional tickets
to this season’s line-up of exciting operas at their subscription price,
which can be up to 50% off single ticket prices.
Subject to availability, tickets may be exchanged for another
performance date of the same opera. Exchange requests must be received
by the COC at least one business day prior to the original
performance date. Premier subscribers are permitted one free exchange
per production; subsequent Premier and all Select, Multi-Pack and
individual ticket exchanges are subject to a per-ticket service charge.
Ticket transfer services will resume for the 2014/2015 once subscription packages are assigned.
If you are unable to attend a performance and wish to transfer your
seats to a friend, the COC now offers no-cost online ticket transfers,
available up to two hours before a performance. Simply complete the
online form, including your account details and the name and e-mail
address of the individual you wish to transfer your tickets to, and we
will complete your request and email them digital print-at-home tickets.
Once confirmed, please destroy your original tickets as they will be
void. Remember, the COC must receive your transfer request at least two
hours prior to the performance time, and transferred tickets cannot be
subsequently returned for a tax receipt.
If you are unable to exchange or transfer your subscription tickets,
as a charitable organization, the COC can issue the purchaser a tax
receipt for the face value of the tickets. Tax Receipts must be arranged one business day prior to your scheduled performance – past performance tickets cannot
be returned for a tax receipt – and there are no refunds. Ticket returns
cannot be used towards member programs, and Multi-Pack and individual
tickets are not eligible.
Tax-receipt requests will resume for the 2014/2015 Season.

If you forget your tickets on the day of the performance, we will
gladly replace them free of charge at the Four Seasons Centre Box Office
prior to curtain.
