SPRING 2016 Carmen, French Opera, and French Diction
April 9, 2016, 4:30 p.m. Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts
Are you a French as a Second Language teacher, French immersion teacher, teach in a French school, or a music teacher who wants to incorporate more French-language music into their students' repertoire? Jason Nedecky, singer and language coach, joins us as we explore French opera, how to incorporate Carmen into your classroom, and how to improve your students' pronunciation and diction. Bring along your questions on these subjects as well as Jason's life as an opera singer and member of the COC Chorus. Afterwards, join us for the dress rehearsal of Carmen.
