Opera is for everyone, and whether you’re an experienced music teacher, a new second-grade teacher, a high school drama teacher or anyone in between, we’d love to teach you about bringing opera to your students by giving you a night at the opera, on us! From private backstage tours to interactive workshops, educators get an engaging introduction to the art form, connect with other educators, and take new resources back to the classroom. Each teacher is invited to stay for the dress rehearsal of the opera immediately following the PD session.
Vocal Music teachers are invited to join us for the Fall 2016 Teachers' Night! For only $10, connect to your inner opera star, gain a deeper knowledge of and appreciation for the art form, and learn how you can use opera to stimulate creativity, curiosity, and discussion in your classroom.
