For lunch today our Managing Director Rob Lamb and I were fortunate to be invited to the Royal Canadian Yacht Club by the Chair of the Canadian Opera Foundation (COF) Bill Fearn. The COF is responsible for the COC's endowment and through the turmoil of the recent economic downturn Bill and his fellow board members have done an amazing job maintaining the stability of our investments. We couldn't be more grateful to all of them.
There probably is no better way to start the weekend than with a lunch on the Islands enjoying a great view of Toronto on a warm and sunny day. What a wonderful oasis to have only a short ferry ride from downtown. On the photo you can see Bill and me waiting for the boat to take us back to the mainland.
